This past friday we had our monthly reading at the urban nature center. It was nice to see new faces as well as old. Our featured reader, Ryan Gibbs, did an excellent job providing short stories and poetry that fit our theme of “early halloween”. Ranging from a Gothic Short Story to fun sci-fi haiku’s, the professor from Lambton College held a captive audience.
During break there was much mingling and discussion. Pumpkin Cupcakes and bowls of Candy brought all of our open mic readers to a sugar high that resulted in a very good and diverse reading.
Here are some photos from the event.

a great reading all around. We have new projects coming up so look back for further information on what we’re planning. Also as mentioned the night of AMP, the second half of Jerard Hutchinson’s four part poem will be posted online.
